Big news — I moved! Only 10 minutes away but still a big change.
My boyfriend, Andrew, and I moved into a beautiful one bedroom apartment in Gainesville, Florida. We signed the lease for this apartment over six months ago, so FINALLY being able to move in after months of anticipation was so exciting.
I've always lived in furnished apartments, so, while I knew it was going to be more expensive, I could not wait to make our apartment a home with our own pieces of furniture. I spent hours on Pinterest and furniture websites coming up with our style and designing a comfortable yet beautiful space that is perfect for us. My favorite part was finding ways to incorporate personal touches throughout our apartment — old pictures of our parents on our TV stand, our favorite pictures together above the couch, mountain prints that represent special places to us.
I had so much fun picking out furniture and designing our space. Seeing it all come together has been amazing, and it has come to life exactly how I pictured it in my head! I've gotten a lot of compliments on how our apartment turned out, so I thought I would share some of the pieces we have.

Couch: I bought our couch on Facebook Marketplace, and I'm not sure where the original owner bought it, but it is THE BEST couch of all time. Sooooo comfy!
